Home made Pumpkin Spice Play Dough

Combine 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of salt and 2 tsp. cream of tartar in a large saucepan. Gradually stir in 1 cup water mixed with 2tbs oil and 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Cook over medium to high heat, stirring constantly until a ball forms. Remove from heat and knead until smooth.

For science we are doing life science, we are learning about reptiles and insects, some arachnids. We read an Armadillo book today. We practiced addition and subtraction, fractions, money, and telling time. I really need a good first secind grade math book. We are doing reading and writing too. I was wondering if there was a more organization in learning, such as when do we start teaching maths etc.

Who knows, I was brought up in the public education system and have spent ages unschooling myself. We are going back to Public school this year. We had a fantastic year last year and expect it to go as well this year. We don't need to buy supplies because te school does this for us after we pay a 20 dollar fee. We do have to shop for clothes this year though.
